cunnilingus hiv

can HIV be transmitted through tonsils if i have a sore throat?
i'm a male and i've  recently been seeing a girl with a sketchy history of drugs and she's had several partners before me. i just starting having oral sexwith her about two months ago(only me giving to her, i haven't received), and we havent done anything else.i had a really bad sore throat when i went down on her the first few times, then it went away. about a month later, i got a new sore, started on the right but now its both sides and this has been lasting almost a month now. at firsti didn't think much of it but now i'm starting to worry about HIV and other STDs that may be causing this. my throat looks red and raw, the tonsils are really so big theyre almost sitting on the back of my tongue. but there are no white spots. i dont have any other symptoms. please advise if anyone can. also when i went down on her she didn't have any apparent vaginal infection and no apparent menstrual blood.
