cuts and hands

Hi people at medhelp.

was wonderin if someone would kindly re assure me this is not a risk.

I went out this satarday, and for some strange reason i was crying and vey drunk! now there was this woman, weirdly and she kept putting her hands on my face when speaking to me.... ihave no mayjor cuts on my face just spots that i scratch now and again...
i'm a bit worried that she might have had something on her hand or a cut - blood etc i can't really re call looking into a mirror let alone anything else.
I hae read that for skin to skin contact ther must be a lot of blood etc from both of us like a majyor accident
so i guess my question is if she did have a cut with blood on it would i have been at risk with her touching me all the time - her finger poked me in the eye as well while getting a eyelash extension out!
thank u

...not a nurse, just alot of reasearch! There are Risk in Theroy means of getting HIV. Someones guess that it could happen. Would you actually get HIV this way, maybe with gallons of blood poured over your eye, but being poked in the eye with some blood on her finger, no!

No you didn't have a risk for HIV. The virus becomes inactive when exposed to air.
