i went a dentist for cleaning. dr use ultrasonic device but before use he did not chance tip of device. just sprey and wipe. there is ten minutes between me and pre patient. if dr can not wipe all, ten minutes enought to death hiv?

There is no authentic case of HIV transmission originated from dental equipment, only one case was reported sometime ago, but that was also not confirmed 100% that its source was dentist;s shop or not.

thanks for reply. i have one question, if hiv dies outside, why dental process have a lot of certain sterilization rules ? and every offical "aids site" writes hiv can be tranfer from dentist tools? is this only theoratical concern?
