lots of people say oral is very very very low risk close to zero or it is zero. from the best i understand it no one has every got hiv from oral. im sure you ok, not a doubt in my mind becuase if you could get it by oral im sure it would of been reported years ago. i hope i help and may God bless you.
Is that really true? I've heard that some people have reported getting HIV from receptive (giving) oral. I know there seems to be some dispute about that and the patient reports are supposedly unreliable versus the documented scientific studies both in San Francisco as well as in Spain which tracked thousands and thousands of people giving and receiving oral (both hetero and homosexual) in sero-discordant relationships (where one is positive and the other is negative) as well as single people reporting oral sex
in mouth, etc. In the California study there were reports of ejaculate in the mouth as well as reports of oral with known HIV+ partners. Still.....no seroconversions. That's pretty compelling evidence that the risk is very, very low if not zero. However, there are still those pesky patient reports to contend with. While they are notoriously unreliable, they still exist. Are all of those people lying, ashamed or forgetting other risks? Who knows......the overwhelming majority of them also report some other potential avenue to infection such as anal intercourse
and many of them report some oral issues (such as sores, cuts, etc.) and most also report receiving ejaculate in the mouth. So maybe, oral is a theoretical risk and potentially possible, but still low risk, if certain factors are present such a impaired oral health, high viral loads and ejaculate in the mouth. Anyone agree?
