doctors

Hi,

2 questions:

1.  can a gay person be a doctor?
2. and secondly can a hiv + person be a doctor or take blood?

being gay does not mean you have hiv.

yeh i guess, i was just thinking outside the box i went to a clinic to have a check up and never knew the dr was gay, He used gloves and that i was just wondering as i was sure i read somewhere that they were not allowed to take blood....

Really, i understand the first one but i always thought that doctors who were hiv + could not practice i guess thats some sort of discrimination and i am sorry but here in the uk do they have to tell the board or what? does that not put people at risk?
