HIV is instantly inactivated in air so effectively is dead so there isn't any such thing as a contaminated chair, otherwise many people with cuts would get it when they sat of a toilet seat in a public washroom. It is a frail virus outside its comfort zone unlike a cold virus that can infect you from touching a contaminated surface then not washing when you eat, etc. You are so safe that you don't even need to test.
