does my wound count as fresh wound ?

hi guys, first of all, i'd like to thank you all for taking your time to help me out on this.

Ever since my wife and I trying to have a baby, i've been quite scared of HIV...due to my previous sex activities before marriage, or getting to know my wife.

Thank God, i tested negative.

but this one thing worries me abit, i had a little accident, my hand got hit by the furniture's corner and scraped off my skin, it wasn't really bleeding at the time. So my wife put on a bandage for me. The next day (can't remember 12 hours later or 24 hours later), i was out the whole day, taking subways and going to office WITHOUT A BANDAGE on my wound (if this counts as a wound)the whole day long.

i was wondering , if my hand wound comes into contact with some fluid on the subway or in the office(such as blood , sperm, etc...) does my injury still count as fresh open wound that can be infected? the size of my wound is 5mmx3mm...

i can't remember any particular strange fluid came into contact with my wound. But i really wanna know if my wound counts as a fresh open wound.

please let me know the truth, i really want have a healthy baby without worrying anything related to HIV.

at last i apologize for my broken English, and my long post.

Thank you all for helping me.

i was mostly worried about people on the subway might of pumped onto my hand wound, since it's really crowded and transmist the deadly viurs.

so my wound doesn't  qualify for as a wound that can be infected right ?

12 hours is long enough for the healing process of my wound size ?

i m deeply touched that you all would help me . and i thank you all deeply and sincerely from my heart

Firstly, HIV can't be transmitted in the fashion you speculate. Secondly, even if you had a fresh bruise / cut and there was contact of infectious fluid, HIV wouldn't be transmitted.

Please move on, you had no risk whatsoever.

the truth is your are worrying without cause..
you had totally no risk..the wound would have started healing immediately and it prevents the virus from entering...
also bearing in mind you cant get hiv by coming in contact with bodily fluid from an environmental surface..
so your are fine forget about hiv..

If you want the truth then I suggest you see a therapist about your anxiety. These are not normal or rational thoughts to have.

No it is not a fresh wound, no it was not big enough, no you can not get HIV from enviromental objects no matter what. You never had a risk for HIV and if you continue down this path your anxiety is going to get worse and you will be causing harm to yourself, wife and maybe child if you have one. Address the anxiety issue.
