Dear Doc,
Thanks for your good work.
I had a bad encounter in the mid of match this year 2013. I had a normal kiss with a local prostitute in Africa nothing else.
Since then i have been disturbed by anxiety and i have been testing since May till Dec 22nd. 9 months testing.
I have tested for hiv1&2 using Uni-code antibody test in Africa, but i'm in Qatar now having tested with rapid tests at 2 months, 3 months, 4 months,7 months, 8 months, and 9 months.
Also tested using Hiv antibody and antigen combo tests at 5 months, 6 months.
With 2 Elisa tests from 6months 2 wks and 7 months 3 wks and also with German ELFA Test again in the same month.
The last rapid tests i had was at 9th months but still anxious b/c i'm married with kids. Please doctor i need your advice.
regards
John.

Dr Hansfield does not answer questions in this forum. You have to post in the expert forum.

Having said that,

"I had a bad encounter in the mid of match this year 2013. I had a normal kiss with a local prostitute in Africa nothing else. "

Then you had no risk and discussing the results of your tests would be an exercise in futility.

This isn't the expert forum and to answer your question you never had a risk of contract HIV from kissing.
