How is school going? I just started last week
First a rash HIV infection BUT seems it has been 2 and half months it is not because Acute symptoms start 2-4 weeks after infection and also all happen together. This has nothing to do with HIV.
and to be honest, i am pretty much a hypochondriac and a "self-guilt-tripper" put together. the rash really was peppered ALL OVER my body. strange thing is that i just woke up and the rash is almost faded. i was thinking that i could possibly be allergic to this ointment i'm putting on my skin for the fungal infection. do petechial rashes usually disappear within a day or two?
Ignorant? no not at all. Just checking that he has all his bases covered, and he does.
And the bit about of course he will get a test, LOL take a look at how many chickens we have running around with their heads cut off not getting a test because they are scared at what the results are. It's not that obvious of a conclusion as any sane person would get tested, but its the hypochondriacs and self-guilt-trippers who are the ones who seem to have a harder time testing.
Hiv neg by the way....this happened last year with a low risk exposure(as I've learnt with Dr. HHH). My point is I was really freaked and nobody here leaves a follow up as to what their illness actually was?
GREAT. Good way to freak this person out again...(d!ckhead).
And on top of that, we're on an HIV forum.....hmmmm....let's see....OF COURSE THEY HAVE/WILL GET AN HIV TEST!!!!!!!
Posts like these are so ignorant.
Tuberculosis often gets intertwined with HIV infections, did you get an HIV test as well?
I had the exact symptoms including tongue sores well into 8 weeks. The under arm nodes were so sore I could barely put my elbows down. I thought for sure hiv and it turned out to be tuberculosis.
Nodes+Rash=see a doctor
Go to the doctor. There are many causes of petechiae in relatively young people, and while most are not serious, some, such as leukemia or meningitis, can be life threatening. HIV wouldn't even be on the radar for things they would look at.
What are you treating the fungus with? You could be allergic to whatever you are using. Or are you exaggerating the petechiae that is "all over your body"? Do you really have millions of tiny red dots peppering your entire body?
I found this. Maybe it will help you

I'd just take a test though, it's already been 2 and a half months. Tomorrow I am scheduling my test at the 6 week mark. A well educated teacher at my school said 6 weeks is a good enough indicator, but just take a later test just incase.
Take test. Your results should be close to conclusive, I'd think.
