false positive Western Blot?
hello, i'd like to ask if there is a possibility that Western Blot can fail.
one month ago i got these wollen lymph glands in the neck but now that seems to fade.
so i went for some medical tests and i found out that my EBV IgG 450<20 U/ml and my CMV IgG 10,3<0,8 U/ml. afterwards i did an elisa test and i got a false negative result, 2nd elisa after 5 days got a positive false test, and one day after i did a Western Blot that was positive.
Actually, i didnt have had sex without condom, and neither i'm a drug user. I havent yet seen any doctor though i think this would help. I tried to but i failed, cause i was told that only 'positive' patients can ask for such assistant.
I'd like to ask how these 3 tests didnt have the same results. Note that they have been done within a week.
plus, is there a possibility western blot can fail cause i read somewhere that It is complex to administer and may produce indeterminate results if a person has a transitory infection with another virus.
pls help, cause i really dont know what to do

I was said, to have a Western Blot test as a confirmatory test after having two EIA tests with a false negative and a false positive results, by a public health doctor. Nobody took a look at my other medical tests with the results i've allready written. I'm anxious if i have EBV or CMV and that one of these 2 virus may affect the positive results of WB.

You are not given a Western Blot test unless you test postive on an antibody test and by reading your original post you never took an HIV antibody test.

then, how come and Western Blot test was positive Teak? pls let me know if u are aware of any further information. It's really important to me, cause i cant have much help in my country. I'm feeling i'm trying to search about my situation alone...
