finger nail scratch

What if someone use his fingernail to scratch a hiv positive person with high viral load and bleeds as the result of the scratch, then the fingernail with infected blood scratch another person within a minute, will that person get infected? And what if the infected blood went into the mouth through the fingernail while eating some fruits, will the person get infected too?

Thank you for your answers. They sound convincing and reassuring, but at this point a question arises: why is sharing needles dangerous if HIV dies outside its host?

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Sorry to dig out a thread that is over two years old, but I keep wondering WHY the situation described by kimoz does not pose a risk of infection[?] If a sharp object scratches an HIV positive person and then within a minute the same object scratches another person, why is the other person NOT at risk? Please explain that as I am seriously worried about a situation like that.

you are asking a question on a post that is 6 months old.  if you are having a medical problem that you "think" might need addressing... go see your doctor.
