flu symptoms after testing negitive

7 weeks ago I had protected vaginal sex with a csw. i tested negative 2 days ago with the home access test. yesterday and today I have severe flu symptoms(Headache, dizziness, high temp of 100 degrees, very achy. ( No Rash)). my question to you is if my symptoms were hiv would i have tested positive one day before the symptoms? should i test again? I know that protected sex carries very little risk but I have never had the flu in july and it seems like too much of a coinsidense.
