got an incised wound

Dear sir or madam,
Several days ago,I was working in a small town(so many hiv infected people living there).Oneday,a coworker borrowed my knife(an artwork)and preciated it.During this time,he touched the knife-edge(maybe wondering how sharp it was),but I did not konw he get an incised wound or not. However, when he returned my knife, there was no obvious bloodstain on it.
About ten minutes later, because my knife's surface was covered by oil for rust prevention,it was polluted by some dirty articles,so,I should clear it.What a pity,I got an incised  wound(a bleeding one) at this time.
If he had got a cut before me,and he was an infected people, did I to be faced with this danger?(Due to this knife was covered by oil, bloodstain on it was not easy to be dried? )

"if" he got a cut...geeeeeeeez

the answer is NO ! ! !  if he had cut himself...the blood would have been exposed to air and rendered inactive and incapable of infecting.

hiv is not transmitted through environmental surfaces and/or inanimate objects.

you had NO risk...testing is NOT needed
