Safe sex , especially in the setting (coke, poppers, etc)! You saved your self from a real risk of catching HIV; and if you stick with the program, you can be confident you'll never get HIV. My only additional advice along those lines is that it would have been good to insist on knowing your partners' HIV status before you got started, so that you wouldn't need to be so worried if the other defences (e.g.
condomCondoms
Female condoms intent) fail.

Safe sex or from skin contact with semen or other infected secretions is zero. No data are available on rimming with respect to HIV transmission, but almost certainly the risk is extremely low, probably on the same order as the risk by oral sex. As for semen on skin coming in superficial contact with your anus, that also is too low risk to worry much about--certainly miniscule compared with having a guy come in your butt.
I'm disturbed by your getting started on PEP by "a friend". Non-medically supervised PEP is really, really dumb. I cannot think of a better way to foster the spread of drug resistant HIV strains, especially if people without medical supervision don't stick with the program and stop treatment early. It doesn't much matter in your case, since you couldn't have been infected, and you should stop the drugs; or immediately see an HIV-knowledgeable health care provider and follow his or her advice. But please don't do it again. If you are bottom with a guy without a condom and especially if he is known to have HIV, PEP would be warranted--but not in this situation.
I trust you're getting HIV tested regularly. When you can make yourself do it, also ask and share your own HIV status. And consider whether you want to place yourself in such high-risk, high-temptation settings. But if you do, but stick with your current practices, you'll do fine. Pass the word to your buddies.

Steve, I mistakenly hit a button on the moderator's response page that banned you from further posts. Your privileges will be restored, but I need to ask the web manager to do it. It might take a day or so. Sorry!

Steve is my brother. I'm Rick. Two different screen names. Thank you for giving him great advice the other day. It seemed to straighten him out. Many thanks.
