If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
ok, i told myself that the faint lines are there because of my blood that has flowed through the bottom section of the test strip, past the test box and down to the controlControl Control rx box.perhaps the test strip has 2 ultra thin lines in the test box thats why positive test always shows up as neat lines and i am sure the test box should be made of really fine cotton material so that a minimal amount of blood is needed. i know im paranoid, ive been really depressed for a few days and trying to googling up how to interpret abbott rapid hiv 1/2 has driven me even crazier, i saw the pdf for orasure rapid and for it even faint lines are considered positive!
Hi, I am from Singapore as well and last Saturday went for AFA test.
You don't need to care about the faint lines or anything. If the test fail, the control box will not even showed up a line which will result in indeterminate test.
I honestly also depressed with the incident that I had. I also trying to google up to know what generation abbott determine rapid test is and whether they use antigen combo...
