help please....

had protected sex with a girl around thanksgiving (6 or 7), and was having pain in my groin off and on for around two to three weeks.  now my armpits feel a little swollen and the back of my knees feel a little swollen.  the skin is just hot around them and was wondering if i have anything to worry about.  my neck feels fine, and my groin seems to have subsided, but now it is the back of the knees and armpit.  i apologize if this is being overly worried, but i would love some feedback.

....also, when is a good time to get a blood test done.  Thanks again.

If you have a concern see a doctor it has nothing to do with HIV.

now my elbow is hurting....it is like it is moving around.  slight burn but just uncomfortable.  what does all this mean.  it really seems like all my lymph nodes feeling pain except my neck.  i also have no fever and had a slight headache last night, though i think that had nothing to do with it.  does anyone know what this is and how long it will last???  thanks

any test would be fine (which you don't need). yes you would be able to see the lymph nodes in most cases. the girl you slept with more than likely doesn't have HIV. good job using condoms.

You didn't have a risk and you don't need testing.

thanks....is there a type of HIV test i should get done, or is one standard.  also, is the lymph swelling associated with HIV drastic?  meaning, would you be able to see the lymph.  i can't even really tell if they are swollen, but they feel so and they are not like they usually are.  just almost like the skin behind my knees is sensitive and my armpit almost feels the same.  thanks again guys for your help and quickness in the response.
