help please...Lab tech told me at 3 1/2 weeks get p24 antigen test?

I recently got an Elisa antibody test done at 3 1/2 months (negative)... the lady there that takes out blood and what not told me that i should repeat testing after 2 months with a p24 antigen test... which is more expensive but i thought a antibody test post exposure at 3 months would be conclusive... why did she say this?! does she have no clue what shes talking about?? then again a topic did come up and she did think herpes was curable... :P she also said the window period was 6 months... when i was first getting the test done she told me that it was a very good antibody test... tested for both HIV 1/2 ... any comments?

Three month test is it no need to go any further. Sounds like she just a lab tech and not an HIV consenslor.
