help regarding testing and accuracy

72 days after having unprotected sex with a CSW i got tested with a test name enzyme linked immuno fluorescent assay. is that test a good and accurate test? i am from india.

Yes but you had a DUO test not a single antibody test.

so you mean both enzyme linked immuno fluorescent assay test and elfa are same tests with different names. Right?

WRONG--I'm not a specialist but I know the DUO tests and that s what you had.In Indian the elfa test is very common.What you need to remember is that 72 days is excellent and highly unlikely to change at 3 months.The HIV DUO is an excellent test and has different names--we call it the p24 combo test.

Then you had a DUO test that looks for both p24 antigen and antibodies.

It's an antibody test and it's accurate--that's all you need to know.

Yes,it's both good and accurate.A 72 day negative test result won't change at 3 months--you're as good as safe.
