Dear Members, i had two exposure one in aug09 & 2nd in feb10, i was using a condom in both exposure,in 1st exposure condom fails, and in 2nd exposure its perfact, however i had started some symptoms during 1st exposure therefore my doc suggest me test so i done hiv test it come nagative (0.237) in oct. and 2nd test for my 1st exposure in done in jan10 again its come back nagative (0.297) with little high value. And during 2nd exposure condom was perfact but lady was bleeding bedly due to her periods. After few day i had done unprotected sex with my wife. Approx after 2 weeks she had pain in upper back its remain for a week and gone again after few days its come back for a day, and now she had pain in her chest for last 5 to 6 days. Even i had some symptoms like pain & sore in throth, little itching in top of my panis skin and Mild headaches and a dizziness which remains for the whole day. i just want to know, what is risk of hiv in this case, and should i need test for 2nd exposure due to symptoms of me and my wife. Please help & Thanks for ur support

you have been told on this forum AND the expert forum that your test was conclusive and further testing is not warranted.

i think my dr asking me more test because of money he has his own lab. as u said that "value" can fluctuate daily...means nothing as long as it is under 1.0. it means after a week my value may come under 0.010 something like this right?
