on may 28 had unprotected sex with female hiv status unknown. one week later started to feel discomfort in penis went to doctor on june 9 have blood work done doctor call back and said everything is fine but sent me to a urologist because there was blood in my semen and i had abdomen pain,hip pain and stomach area pain urologist said i have a enlarge prostate and put on antibiotics.the week of june 21-26 started to feel really bad pain in groin area armpits,neck and stange headache in frt,back and sides of head nothing will stop headache.sore throat and muscle pain in arms,thighs and neck also feet and hands have tingling and numb feel at times and really tired.on july 6 starting to feel a little better. pain where lymphs nodes are at is not as bad a lot of throbbing.found no rash or abnormal bowel movements bodys feels warm but no fever,dry cough at time.still have sore throat and bad headache in back of head

None of this suggests HIV.  You don't say where you are, but in the US, North America, and Europe, the chance of catching HIV from a single episode of unprotected sex with a woman is extremely low. Your symptoms don't sound at all like those that occur with new HIV infections.  Anyway, symptoms never are useful indicators of HIV infection; the same symptoms caused by HIV are those also caused by a hundred other conditions that are more common than HIV.  It sounds like you caught a garden-variety cold virus.

Continue to work with your doctor if you remain concerned.  You are almost 6 weeks since the sexual event that concerns you.  By this time, an HIV test will be highly reliable.  A negative result will prove you weren't infected.

thanks for answering my question.just wanted to follow up went to see the doctor on july 7 doc ck my neck and armpits to see if my lymph nodes were swollen.doc felt node on left armpit only.doc wanted to take blood and ck my white blood cell count and other test no hiv test doc wants to wait 3 months for hiv test. blood test came back good. question will white blood cell count be normal if hiv virus is present in body. have runny nose for 3 weeks and throat still sore doc gave me azithromycin for sore throat not working also notices small red sores on right lower gum towards rear and sore muscles thank you for your time

Symptoms make no difference in judging whether or not someone has HIV; only the blood test matters.  WBC count is usually normal in HIV and doesn't predict what an HIV test will show.  As in the original reply above, you describe nothing that suggests you have HIV.  Follow your doctor's advice.
