hiv

Hi i just want to know i have sex toy and it had been sitting in draw for sometime maybe a yr i decided to use it so i wiped it a baby wipe the used aqua hand sanitizer then wiped and the sprayed it with disinfectant 99.9 kill germs then boiled water and poured it over it twice  before letting dry then using. Could i still catch hiv if someone else had used it im pretty sure no one has touched but im still freaking out cause its my nature to have a wild imagination

Also how long after some contracted hiv would a test read posistive for or how long would one need to wait before testing i ask this because i want to have a better understand as it one of my fears

It would never had been active to begin with. HIV does not stay active outside its host.

Thank you teak just curious if it did have would that cleaning i did kill the virus what kills the hiv virus on surface how long can it last out the human body. This disease is one of my biggest fears in life i carry on my 99.9 kill germs every day i think i have anxiety of bacteria virus and germs i litteral disinfect everything in house 3 times out 7 days so i dont catch nothing or get sick

No you cannot contract HIV in that manner.
