hiv/aids

by misfit707, Oct 24, 2009 02:49AM
i had unprotected sex about 2 to 3 months ago and it probably wasnt my best decision.   ive had unprotected sex 3 other times with girlfriends that i know are clean.  but its this one specific  incident that im worried about.    she had just recently broken up with her boyfriend and i guess i was kinda her rebound.   it all started with a blowjob and then she asked me to put it in.   i was unsure at first and knew she was on her period.   i dont know why i didnt use my judgment but i really couldnt help it.    now 2 and a half to 3 months later ive devloped a cough.  atfirst i was coughing up flem (phlegm) and it made my chest feel better  now im not coughing anything up and ive devoped a slight fever and a stuffy nose.  id like to know what the chances are that ive been infected with hiv/aids.  any response would be helpful

3 months post exposure and you can receive a conclusive test result.

Please try NOT to use the terms "CLEAN" or "DIRTY" when referring to people with HIV.  Your symptoms are beginning way too late for HIV ARS. As Teak has told you a test @ 3 months will tell you your status CONCLUSIVELY. Female to Male HIV transmission is difficult and even more so after only 1 episode, but it DOES happen. The odds are greatly in your favor especially because she was most likely NEGATIVE. From here out, I regardless of how horny you are, ALWAYS use a condom during vaginal or anal sex .
