antibody test done 3 months after the last possible exposure is conclusive. I would say that 13 YEARS later, it would be conclusive :) The only diagnostic test for HIV
HIV antibody tests can be done on blood or oral fluid. They are the same tests, meaning they test for the same thing (antibodies to HIV) but they just use different bodily fluids. As long as it is an antibody test, it is fine for testing for HIV. I was tested about 10 months after the exposure. As long as it has been a minimum of 3 months, your results will be very accurate.
it be super hard to belive a 80 day test to change in 10 days thoy i belive 90 is better but i dont thinck there be a difference at 80 most people wounld get it at 6 weeks if they do
oh no not me its the other guy i was asking him when his last exposure was i dont belive it was 13 years ago if he be worrying about 13 years i thinck it be time to shoot my self if i waited that long for a test lol
The reason i waited so long is that i really didnt think i had been exposed for a long time. Then quite a few years down the road i realized that i may have been exposed and needed to get tested. And then after i got tested i still worried i might be testing false negative.
And the thing that freaks me out the most is that i have a lot of symptoms that could be related to hiv/aids. I have low wbc count. I also a high level of protein in my blood too. I feel like i am at a lost. Every doctor ive been to tells me not to worry, but how am i not suppose to when i have all these signs in my blood work pointing to hiv?
