hiv and lyme disease testing

I was tested for HIV when my doctor received my lab work there were no results for HIV but a positive result for lyme disease. My doctor never ordered a lyme disease test. Is it possible the the results were for HIV? Or was Lyme disease detected when they performed the HIV test. I was told the same test are performed

While I was in my first tri..Baby born test Negative..In 2007 tested for Lyme>positive. I know sometime the tests get changed to perform more better. Thank you for reading..

Maybe your doctor decided to run both because of your symptoms.
