hiv and transmission

I was at a beach yesterday and walking barefoot suddenly i felt a prick on my feet and i saw i got pricked by a needle lying in the sand .
It was a hollow bore needle just like a injection needle but no syringe was attached to it.
Am i at risk from this ?

U mean no risk eveni if needle was used by an HIV positive person
