I work with the best Hiv experts in the world in sydney and there is no way you can contract Hiv if you used a condom for penetrative vaginal sex.Your symptoms are not classic ARS symptoms and you are safe from infection. What you need to do is accept the advice that you have already been given.Have a wonderful holiday and believe in the facts.

ARS symptoms would not last for 33 days.  It is far too long.

The symptoms of Acute Retroviral Syndrome are very similar to many many other things out there including cold, flu, allergy and .... stress and anxiety.

Stop focusing on HIV it is not your problem here, no way.  Work with your GP to figure out what is going on.  I am guessing that you have put yourself under a great deal of stress lately and maybe this is causing some of your symptoms.

As Diver has said you have not had a risk.  You used a condom when having sex and this is the most important point you told us.  How the condom was removed is totally irrelevant as the HIV virus becomes inactive as soon as it is exposed to air.

You WILL NOT get HIV in this manner.  Never.

Blood picture (blood count test) does not tell anything about our HIV status. In your case, you wer never at a risk of HIV in a situation you described.
