I had sex in west africa with a women i beleive had HIV. I've heard HIV11 is in west africa not hiv1 which you find in europe. I was tested after 2 weeks and it came back negative i had had no symptoms. Can anyone tell the differences between the two types of hiv
HIV-2 is found in West Africa. An antibody test at 3 months will pick up HIV-2 and con be considered conclusive.
