hiv mutual masturbation higher risk in the sauna?!

by panick, Jun 08, 2009 11:12PM
Dear Dr and Users

Last week I had mutual mastubaton with an older man i dont know in a sauna. while he was masturbating himself he touched my penis and the head of my penis (the opening) 2 times. am i at risk if he had pre*** on his hand while he was touching my penis, and is it possible, he have squeezed the pre*** into my tip, the opening of my penis while he was touching it?! I know that its save sex and i red all the forums and your answers to these questions but im still anxious and scared!my biggest worry: is it possible that the virus could have been still active, although out of its host because of the heat in the sauna? after ive finished, ive immediately washed my penis.

Im 18 and i was never sexually active, all my life ive been aware  of hiv! am having my final exams on two weeks and all I can think of is hiv and aids! please. your advise would be such a relief!

thank you so much for your help.

from what i've read  hiv can't live outside a person no exceptions.  the only way to get hiv is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing a needle with a hiv positive person.  you were never at risk.  rest easy and do well on your finals.

At no time were you at risk of contracting HIV in the situation you've provided.

Dear Teak i made a hiv test last thursday, 7 weeks after the sauna story and it came back today negative!! I am very relieved, but i still have a few questions: how reliable is my 7 weeks test and do you think i have to test again at 3 months? Also the nurse said that she sent the blood to  the lab on friday one day after she took it, does this affect the result? Thank you so much for your help!

You didn't have a risk, didn't need testing.

Ok thank you :) and about the thing with 1 day till she had sent the blood? Please tell me cause i want be clear about everything i have done in my live and to get my peace trough this test! That would be the last question! Again thank you for everything you have done and for everyone on this site!

Stop, you were not at risk, no need to testing. So your test doesn't matter, but timing that it takes to send to a lab does not matter.
