hiv question

Hi I am posting this bulletin to help me out with my situation. In the beginning of October I gave oral sex to a guy. About the end of november I went to get hiv tested, and of course my results where negative. I probably went and got tested to soon. but  I have another scheduled test in february. Just to be on the safe side. Before that I have had 4 sexual encounters. I have been tested for hiv 3 times counting the one I just did for the last enounter. I have had 2 blood tests done and a urine test done. All have came back negative. Im just tripping out that I might be infected because I know there has been times where people dont show hiv + for 6 months to a year. I haven't had any signs of hiv syptoms. I just got a cold and my lymph nodes are kinda swollen under my jaw and behind my ears with a sore throat. I took some nyquil and it almost stopped my sore throat and my nodes don't feel swollen really at all anymore. But i've only had the cold for a day. So it might come back. Also why I am so concerned about hiv is that I have reaccuring sores in my mouth. I have seen 3 doctors for it. The first one told me it was herpes. The second one told me she thought it was canker sores, same with the third doctor. The last two doctors said it can't be herpes because there on the inside of my lip. I tend to get them on the inside of  my bottom lip and top. Sometimes they will be on the inside of my front cheek. I also tend to chew at them because they are really dry and they leave little white lesions. That I can just wipe off with my shirt. But they always bleed when I wipe them or chew at them. I do smoke alot of ciggerettes and marijuana. I'm wondering if its leukoplakia because the symptoms seem to match that. Thanks for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon.

I'm right there with you man... At least I was. I did the same thing in November. Tested negative 30 days later. I'm really not worried anymore. The studies that have be completed recently on oral sex (two long term studies, one in Spain, one in SF) showed no cases of HIV transmission from oral sex. They are both considered really solid studies by the scientific community.

You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV from oral sex.
