hiv risk through cut on arm with glass

hi people please can somebody  tell me do i have a risk or not im in the fire department in south africa i did a accedent 1 night it took us to about 5 to 10 min to arrive on the scene.Does hiv survive that long when exposed to air and by touching objects like glass and dust. So then i and cut my arm on the broken glass of the car while helping the patient out of the car.I cannot remeber if there were blood of the patient or not lets say there were blood on the glass that cut me what are the chances of getting infected with hiv.I did rinse my arm with water and i did use a webcol to whipe the blood of my arm. Im only worried because my wife suddenly have a swolen lymph node right at the back of her ear and i think i maybe infected her
