hiv scare at arber's shop

hiv scare at arber's shop

hello everybody,

I have read that HIV cannot be transmitted through combs, razors etc at barber's shop
but just wanted to share my incident
Today I went to the salon for a hair cut , He changed the blades  for the hair cut but after that I asked him to color my hair as well , now for the hair color he took a hair brush and a comb which was just used for the same purpose for a another client , He didn't wash them , just wiped them with the tissue and used them.
Now my question is
1. can hiv be transmitted this way
2. does the chemicals in the hair color deactivate the hiv virus..and makes them ineffective .
I am very worried coz i have some pimples on my head under my scalp which i believe could help  virus in entering my blood stream..

i would highly appreciate the response from all the experts on the forum
I am really very worried..

thanks a lot sir,
I really appreciate ur quick reply
just one more clarification , as I have read that as the body fluids dries in the air the virus becomes inactive . but what if the color in the hair brush and the comb in still wet ,
i know it sounds very weired , still i would be very gr8ful if u could explain a bit.

thanks again

Once exposed to air the HIV virus is rendared inactive and unable to infect, So even if the blood or fluids were still wet the virus could not be transmitted.
