hiv testing
I just had a hiv rapid test 44 days from high risk situation (unprotected vaginal sex with Korean escort) and was negative (only one dot) here in Toronto Canada. The doctor wants me to test again in 6 weeks to be conclusive and said the test i did today 95% of people would test positive in this timeframe. Do i really need to test again as on this forum 30 days is conclusive? I'm still very tired all the time and feel like i have a fever but my body temperature in low (96.5-97.5)...

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) may help prevent HIV infection.
As you took 3rd GEN test, you should test again after 12 weeks on the same test.
But in my opinion, it will be negative.
You can test earlier on 4th GEN test.
You will be fine.
