Apparently, I had my test dome at 12 weeks(84 days) and my WBC was at 15.6% when normal range is 4-11. My neutrophils were at 77.5 when normal range is 35-70 ad my lymphocytes were at 16 when they should be between 20-40. Do you call those number whacky for a normal immune system to delay antibody response.

Dobber, it seems you going the same path as where I was a while ago. Watch out man. These questions drove me insane and have potential to do that to anyone.

Teak, do let is know your thoughts...take care

Teak,
You mention a very depressed immune system. I had a CBC done at the same time as my hiv test twelve weeks post exposure. HIV test was negative, wbc was normal. If you had a very depressed immune system, would your CBC and WBC be completely out of whack? Thanks

The answer is no. Your results are close to normal and would be that of someone with an infection. Mine are normally all normal eventhough I have AIDS.

Your wbc would be off along with you rbc. More than likely you would have known several years of your suppressed immune system. You would have also probably been hospitalized for what would be situations that would not affect a person with a normal immune response.

The UK considers 12 weeks 3 months. People that are late seroconverters are in these catagories: On Chemo, on anti-rejection drugs for transplants, long term IV drug abusers or a very depressed immune system. As far as what ainxtein said just over look it. They don't know what they are talking about.

1. If used consistantly and correcly you won't have anything to worry about.
2. You are negative
3. zero (12 weeks is three months)outside the US.  US   states 13 weeks, which is of no concern. You are conclusively negative.
