how long is too long?

I was reading some postings and someone asked a question about deep kissing for 30 minutes Dr H said that most kissing doesn't last 30 minutes and then that since he had a sore it was a very low risk. My question is how long is too long for kissing? Is the longer you kiss the more risky it gets even with out sores in the mouth and also who knows if they have cuts in there mouth it's hard to tell. I'm confused. Also who knows if the one you are kissing has a cut inside no one asks before kissing, "do you have a cut in your mouth?" It just seems to me that if it were transmitable this way then the rise in infection would be greater than what it is. someone help clear things up for me..please. Thank You.

unless a) you're kissing a positive person
b) he's bleeding like heck in the mouth so much so that he/she seems like Dracula after feeding
c) you have an open wound in your mouth that he/she just spit all that blood into.

You don't get HIV from kissing closed or open mouth.
