how sensitive is oral fluid rapid test?

how sensitive is oral fluid rapid test?

Sorry I have already asked this question but I forget to specify that it is oral fluid rapid test

Is it sensitive as the normal blood testing ELISA?

I mean assume that today is the FIRST day that my antibody is up to the detectable level by ELISA.
Would the oral fluid rapid test pick up the result as positive?

Kaisernetwork.org says that the OraQuick test is 99.8% accurate. It also turns out these tests can return false positive results.

However, I would recommend an HIV anti-body blood test over an OraQuick test any day. I have seen that tests like this don't really help with the fear one might have over being infected with HIV.

So...only false positive? there is no false negative?
That means if I get negative result, i can be sure?

I meant that false positives happen more the false negatives. False negatives are possible if you test too soon, of course. You can never be too sure when your anti-body is up if it's under 3 months.

But I wouldn't do OraQuick, personally. Nothing calms my nerves more than when the blood anti-body test is negative.
