i can't live with that stress anymore

21 of august, i had sex with a men wich i don't know his status, the thing after our encounter, i confronted him but he would not answer about his hiv status, so i guess he is positive, I received oral and the head of my penis was between his cheeks, he wanted me to push the head of my penis against his anus so i did. I'm scared that it had entered but don't remember if it did, i dont remember having something tight aroud it. After sex, i had this tingly sensation in my penis that stayed for 2 days, then few days after i got this stomach cramps (lower part) and i got a big fatigue witch usually doenot come that way (weird), and sorethroat, with some headache and felt like vomiting. Sometimes, id go to urinate more often, each 2 hours for a day or 2. i had constipation but pooh was soft. Could it be e coli or any bateria, and can i get it outside the anus? Then, i lost apetite, i got a littlebit of fever and chills with some cold feeling with white tongue and alittle bit more yeast infection on my penis, the yeast on my penis, i had it before sex, but had them more red spot on the shaft of the penis. I have been stressing alot since then i now i barely sleep. i had a test on monday (26) september and came back negative it is an elisa blood test. I want to know if i got e coli or ohter bacteria, you think it could afect the test i had done on 26 sep? wich are my chance of infection?, with all these symptoms, i'm sure i got it. those symptoms stayed aprovimativly from 31 of august til 15 september, and everything gone, i felt in good health after these. and i even lost alot of weight. What do you suggest me doctor, I hope everything is right and it's nothing more than a virus but it is hard to think otherwise, even impossible at this moment.

Thank you doctor

Welcome to the Forum. I review your earlier discussions with Lizzie on the HIV Community site and agree with the advice she has giving you.  there is no evidence that there was penetration and so the encounter you describe did not put you at risk.  Your tests will prove this. Your antibody test taken on 26 September was taken at 5 weeks and would detected nearly 95% of HIV infections acquired on your August 21 encounter and, if the symptoms you describe were due to HIV, would certainly be positive at that time.  My suspicion is that the symptoms you experienced were a combination of coincidence and anxiety.

I would also add that even if you acquired E. coli or some other bacteria from this encounter, the illness would not alter your test result.

Please try to relax.  I am confident your test will be negative, showing that you did not get HIV. EWH

doctor,

Even if i had a flu and stress and ecoli, my test result would have been positve at that time? and just want to know, why it does miss 5% at that time, are these less healhy people?
Can someone aquire  E.coli by a sexual act without going in the anus?
Thank you doctor,

Yes, even if you had flu, stress and E. coli your test would have been accurate.  Persons who become infected all develop antibodies by 8 weeks following exposure. At 6 weeks it is 95% because some persons have not yet developed antibodies.

Please relax.  EWH

I'm not sure what you mean by "E. coli", perhaps a urinary tract infection.  I  suppose it could happen but it would be most unusual.

This will be the last answer.  EWH
