i did a hiv test rapid test i recived the answer after 1 hour negative i was happy
but my doctor made me afraid when he said to me  i dont believe in rapid test
you need a full hiv test (answer after 1 week)
please help is that right
does full hiv test better than the rapid test
maybe the rapid test gave me a false answer

as long as you did a hiv antibody(Ab) test 3 months post exposure, then you are conclusively negative..
rapid tests are highly sensitive and reliable..your doctor is wrong

Yes, negative results from a rapid test will be as good as a negative result from a standard lab test.

Do not worry. You do not have hiv.
