If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Their being heterosexual women who only have sex with heterosexual men does not mean that they don't risk having HIV. Only consistent, correct condom usage is safe.
You should use condoms always when you are not in a mutually monogamous relationship. You should get tested at 6 weeks past your last exposure (i.e. unprotected vaginal or unprotected anal intercourse), and again at 12 weeks. 12 weeks is conclusive.
