increased risk for jock itch?

increased risk for jock itch?

I did something very stupid and had sex with a prostitute in a country where there is a fairly high rate of HIV infection among sex workers.  I had oral sex and about twenty minutes of vaginal sex, both with a condom.  The condom did not fail.  From other posts I understand that normally such an encounter entails very little risk.  I am concerned because I had inflamed skin around my crotch area and around my anus area (I think it is jock itch), though the skin on the penis and scrotum is normal and healthy-looking.  Specifically, I am concerned about the area immediately outside of my pubic area, which is the area where the flesh folds over as the leg meets the crotch area.  The area here has small but visibly open cuts, a result of the irritation of the jock itch.  While I don't think this area could have come into direct contact with the prostitute, it is so close to the genital area that I am very concerned. Is it possible that vaginal fluid could have dripped out or that I may have been infected another way as a result of the redness and irritation?  How much risk have I put myself in?  Thank you so much for reading my question.

Any tissue inflammation probably increases the risk of HIV transmission if exposed to HIV-infected secretions, so in theory there might be some microscopically increased risk.  But the odds are extremely low.  You also might get killed by lightning someday.  Neither risk is sufficient to lose any sleep over it.

I realize that this kind of behavior is verboten, but I figured that I would try anyway.  You deleted my question about nipple biting and HIV.  Two previous posters had said that there was zero risk and that I could find other answers in the archive.  I could only find questions from the biter and not the bitee.  Can I assume that if there was any risk to me that you would have answered and not deleted my question?

Tank you and I apologize for the inappropriate behavior.

Thank you so much for your opinion.  I realized that the risk was low, but your assurance that I should not lose sleep over it really helps.  I still plan on getting tested at five weeks just to kill any doubts.  Thank you for this forum; your pedigree as a physician makes it a more trustworthy source than other sites on the internet.
And a word to poster concerned about the nipple biting: I am not an expert but even I know that you have nothing to worry about in that instance.  Consider what the doctor said to me, I might as well worry about being hit by lightning, and I had much more exposure than you did.  Don't torture yourself like this, it just isn't worth it.  Good luck.

One more concern, which I did not think of before.  About half way through she removed the condom and briefly masturbated me.  I did not want her to do this, so I asked her to put a new condom on.  She put on a new condom and we resumed intercourse.  My question is this:  is it possible that her vaginal fluid went from her hands to my penis and then the new condom 'trapped' it in, thus exposing me to HIV?

I know this is a new question, but please answer.  It is my last question and I am worried about it.

"Is it possible that her vaginal fluid went from her hands to my penis and then the new condom 'trapped' it in, thus exposing me to HIV?"  Possible?  I suppose.  Likely?  And if it happened, would you catch HIV?  See your own comment about lightning.

Biting is low risk for HIV transmission; there is little or no infectious HIV in the mouth.  Nobody gets HIV by oral-breast contact.
