I took a INSTI HIV TEST (ready in 60 seconds instantanous) in a clinic in UK 15 weeks (100 days ish) after a possible exposure. The one with blood took from finger. Result NEGATIVE. Can I consider it CONCLUSIVE and move on? Do you know guys if these tests are reliable? Can I consider myself NEGATIVE? THANKS

Give this to Dr. Bob to better educate himself. http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/12/prweb4852884.htm

I had a lot or respect for Dr. Bob at therbody however I do not know why he said that about the INSTI rapid test when this 60 second rapid test is recognize globally as one of the most reliable test. I really don't know why? I read also FDA approved it recently plus it has a 99.99% reliability (pratically 100%) after 3 months.
this should be a fact either it is reliable or not approved by an official department and not up to individual to stick a finger on the air and saying for me it is NOT reliable, it is not correct.

You are conclusive and we don't care what Dr. Bob has to say he doesn't practice medicine.

Thank you. I looked at thebody website and I quote Dr. Fascino that he says a 60 second INSTI hiv rapid test cannot be reliable so he advice the person to go for an ELISA test instead.
Can someone comment on this?

Does anybody know why some people are still thinking these INSTI tests are not reliable? I'm sure if clinics use them they must be sure. Have they have scientific answers to say they are not reliable? Thanks

Thanks appreciate that. It's weird that you find so many places where they don't trust these INSTI test. I think since they are approved everyone should say they are reliable and conclusive after 12 weeks instead of scaring people. I wish everyone a Happy Christmas.

Thanks again for answering Teak. Just double checking if these INSTI are reliable after 12 weeks. No need to take extra tests? I got misinformed. Thanks
