is 9 months post exposure test with rapid test kit conclusive despite symptoms?

Hi,

My ex girlfriend tested positive to HIV and i had unprotected sex with her a couple of times! I tested using determine for 6 months and rapid test 3 months later. all came out negative. I havent exposed myself since then. but still i have symptoms like oral thrush, tingling in hands and legs, fatigue, swollen lymphs! Please could there be any explanation for these symptoms other than HIV? or do i have to do a more comprehensive test?

thanks

what have "i" observed?
most of the ppl on this forum also suffer from ocd...AND...the "symptoms" they get come on as soon as they start reading on the internet about hiv.  ANXIETY can also cause very physical symptoms.

Thank you teak and lizzie, ur responses were very timely! I will do just that! but i observed one common thing from the many posts i have read in this forum! i observed that many posters who feel they got exposed to hiv and tested negative have similar symptoms! the trush, fatigue, rash and the rest! why is it so? and could there b another virus apart from hiv causing this? from your experience what have u observed?

your test(s) proves that you dont have hiv.

if you are having health concerns, see your doctor.  it's NOT hiv related.

3 months is conclusive. You don't have HIV. See your doctor if you are worried about symptoms they are NOT RELATED to HIV.
