is australia same as rest of world

Approx 5 1/2 weeks ago I had sex with what i think you call a csw (cost about $140 for 1/2 hour) we used a condom which i am hoping didn't break and have tested negative at 4 days and again at 4 weeks. I went to a doctor this morning and he said that both tests were a waste of time. I have been reading not only the community forum but the expert forum and I keep reading that a 4 week test is 90% accurate and I was wondering would this be the same for Australia (Queensland) as it is in the USA. I went to this doctor as I have been sweating at night and asked him what do they call night sweats and how much do you have to sweat for it to be called night sweats he was not very helpful. I also have read the doctors statistics in the expert forum about catching Hiv also the statistics for csw having Hiv and am wondering if this also applies to Australia (Queensland). I may be just being paronoid but if someone can answer the above that would be great. Suffering the same as most people I suspect I have managed to convince myself I have most of the symptoms.

brisboy do u have any idea on the rate of hiv in QLD u are more likely to be hit by a bus tomorrow then get hiv from a hetrosexual women, relax i use to deal with hiv patients as a drug health worker and i can tell u there is not many women with hiv and even drug users here are low risk thanks to our needle exchange program, relax dude!!!

Had the condom failed you would have known. You never had a risk nor did you need testing.
