is it related?

i understand that the rash related to early HIV infection could be a number of different rashes, my questions is how spread out the rash would be?  i have on my foot 9 dots that dont itch or anything, they are just there.  up above them on my ankle is a reddish brown patch that had itched at first, but doesnt anymore. (it may have only itched because i was thinking about it).  thats all i have for the rash, its nowhere else on my body, and it appeared about 10 days after my exposure.  the red patch is about the size of a nickel.  is it possible it could be related to HIV or does it not at all sound like an HIV related rash? thanks. oh and i have no other symptoms at all, nothing flu like or no aches and pains, just this rash on my foot.

well the rash came, and today its starting to fade away....... today is actually 2 weeks after the exposure, does this time frame and the fact that i had no other symptoms probably make it likely that this rash had nothing to do with a potential HIV infection?

3 month test post exposure is conclusive. Rash can be from HIV or 100 of other things. We don't speak about symptoms because they are non-specific.

oh and the sex was vaginal, i just never get rashes at all, and this one is just odd, all i see from reading is that the rash is normally on the trunk area and sometimes the hands and feet, does that mean some people get it on the feet and nowhere else? or the feet as well as the trunk?  im gonna get tested when i can im just outside the country in an area without testing available.  thats why im trying to figure out if the rash seems like something thats common with HIV infection.

We don't talk about symptoms here because they are general and non-specific. What was your risk?
