is it safe now?

had my 6 month test yesterday(rapid) which came back negative and unlike the first test at 6 weeks, i was non reactive for syphilis this time.

1) is it safe for me to move on now?

2) my reason for testing was because i cheated on my wife and the condom broke during the act, i have learnt my lesson and now i'd like to know if its safe to have sex with my wife again. i need to know for i dont want to arm my wife

As rightly said by Teak, you are 100% safe. Congratulations. The best way of prevention (prevention the only cure for HIV as of today) is to keep yourself limited to  your committed partner.  This might not look too exciting, but offers lots of love, ultimate peace of mind and free from any kind of "post exposure" fear or stresses, usually earned after spending some good time (which might turn out to be "bad time" later) with "one timers" escorts and commercial sex workers.

Condoms safeguard you from HIV and STD's and offer almost 100% protection, as long as they do not break, and once they do, the situation is as bad as not having them at all.

I am happy that you are going back to your family, the people, love you more than anyone else on the planet. They need you. Your post reflects very high sense of responsibility and care you possess, as you refrained from sex with her during your "risk period", great.
