is my fever an hiv fever

i have a question about my problem, i hope someone can help me. on May 31, 2009 i had sex with my girlfriend for the first time. then four days later June 4th my penis was irritated round the shaft. i waited 6 days later to go to the doctor i went on the 10th of june. the doctor told me that it was irritation due to the acids of the vagina so he gave me a cream for it. and it worked but i stopped putting the cream 3 days after i thought that my penis was ok already. so i masturbated and the inrritation came again so i kept putting the cream again and it worked. also when my penis was irritated i had the hemmoraiods for 2 days.. (even thougth sometimes i suffer from it) but the secon time that the irritation was there i had hemmoroid again but then one day later it was gone. ok now my question i hope that what i wrote above it does not have nothing to do with HIV but now my main question. on June 25th i woke up with a thoat hurting a little but i took a dayquil pill ad it was gone but i stated getting a mild fever of 99.5 to 98.5 and then to 97 degrees with no other symtomps, i dont feel tired of noting hurts on my body... i had been scared all this month so i dont know if i am creating fever because i am afraid of HIV or do i have a bug inside? i mean the highest that my fever went is 99 or 37.5 celcium but i think that when i think about hiv my fever goes up i don't know... so my question is how high is the HIV fever? is it 99 or 37.5? or is always higher than that?i meani dont feel bad  or i dont hav any chills or nothing like that. the only thin that i feel is my forehead and my neck hot. is that hiv fever? or maybe stress? or it could be the flue that tried to hit me but since i drank one pill of dayquil it did not attack me anymore? today is july 4th and i still have the 37 fever, it is going from 36.5 or 98 to 37.5 or 37 (99). please let me know. i dont have any other symthoms

You had a risk by having unprotected sex. You will need to test. 3 months post exposure will give you your conclusive result. Take your girl friend with you to test.Your fever is not an ARS fever.

thanks for the response. i forgot to mention that my fever was reading 37.5 when i took it from my armpit. and i heard that if you take it there you have to add one degree so that it can read just like when you take it oral. but i also read that the most accurate is from the rectum and that you have to add 1 degree more than the oral reading so i was thinking.  if i have 37.5 (99.5) from my arm pit.  and adding one degree for oral it would be 38.0 (100.4) so if the best way is the rectum and i have to add one more degree that means that i had 38.5 (101.3) does that means that my fever was an ARS fever? i still have a little bit of it is not high it is 98.6 orally. the thing is that it does up and down when i think about it it goes up and when i dont think about it it stays warm but not as much. also if i take a bath. my body cools down automatically or if i am in a cold room. does that sounds like a hot flush? and if it does can hot flushes like for 3 weeks and 4 days? because it has been 3 weeks and 4 days since i am experiencing this ups and downs in body temp. please give me your expertise.

You are not having an ARS fever. As you were advised to test 3 months post exposure.

thank you for your fast response. this is my first time that i did a stupid thing by sleeping with my new girlfriend without protection, that is why i got so nervous. some people say that i could be suffering from stress or auxiery because it is my first time with a problem like this so i am afraid that i got something, so my body is making up my temp little high based on my thoughts. and yes i am waiting for the three month to get tested. i heard that after 6 weeks i could get accurate results in the test. is that true? because how do they test the blood when you donate blood? do they wait for 3 month? or they test the blood 48 hours after you donate? sorry that this is another topic but i was just wondering.

You are not donating blood and the tests are not the same. Only a 3 month negative test is conclusive.
