scabies won't appear in the mouth. follow up with your providers as needed if your mouth symptoms are continuing for proper treatment.

if you have further questions about scabies, please post on the dermatology related forums here - thanks :)

They are very similar and are transmitted in the same way and are cured with the same treatment. They are both from the parasite family. One is a mite and the other a crab louse.Again, neither has anything to do with HIV.

Scabies are not pubic lice, they are not lice at all, although they are similar in that they are a parasite.  And, they have NOTHING at all to do with a person's HIV status.  You'll need to be properly treated and need to properly wash your clothes, bedding, etc.  Ask your doctor for instructions.

This forum is HIV specific but it sounds like you might have head lice.

Scabies are pubic lice and have nothing to do with HIV.

it doesn't sound like you have scabies in the genital area so I'm not sure why you posted in the std forum.

anyone can get scabies. It has nothing to do with hiv status.

be sure to properly treat your scabies as well as do the house cleaning and laundry washing that is recommended too or you will just keep getting reinfected over and over again.

follow up on the dermatology forum as needed.
