hi all i am very new at this it is my first post and i think it is a stupid question but it has my brain racking...i have a friend who got into a fight yesterday...during this fight he busted open his own knuckle and was bleeding a little bit after he washed his hands
he was still bleeding but didnt put a bandaid on afterwards he started rumageing through a drawer at my house and some items i had on the counter above it.not even 10 seconds after he left the drawer i went into it looking for something and i have open cuts
Something that would require stitches and it would have to be activly bleeding. So if you had stitches and cut not bleeding then the blood hs clotted and a barrier has been created.
Basically you would have to take a large knife cut yourself and then cut someone HIV+ and let his blood spew into your fresh, open activly bleeding cut for a risk.
This is why cuts and things of that nature are not a risk when it comes to HIV.
