Thanks for this, I have had  good read its very informative.  Just to make sure I understand it completely I can be certain that mucus, congestion and cough are NOT symptoms of ARS?

I understand that, i genuinely do.  I just wanted to know, in the interim while I wait to test, if ARS could appear as the common could appear as the common cold, congestion, mucus, cough.

I'd appreciate it if you could answer this as it will ease my anxiety until i test.

Thanks

the symptoms of ars are the same as many common, everyday illnesses.  "this" is the reason that you cant diagnose hiv by symptoms.   the only way to know if one had true ars symptoms is when they receive a positive test result.

a test at 6-8 weeks post exposure will give a very good indication of your status and at that point it is unlikely to change when you get that conclusive result at 3 months.

ok, thanks,  Just more question is mucus, nose and chest congestion and cough associated with ars?

I had unprotected sex and will test at the right time,  These symptoms started at about 9 days post exposure and are still persisting now (10 days later).

Thanks
