many exposures

HI,
I am tying to change my lifestyle but I have a need to go with many guys[ I am gay]

I do not go to gays bars but rather limit myself to adult book store etc. I also take the advice of the Doctors and always ask my partners their status even though most say the are safe I believe they rally have no idea. most are married if that means anything.

My question is about swallowing their semen. I do almost always swallow but am very careful about the condition of my mouth. I never go out if I have any damage to my mouth. Also, I got just a tiny drop of semen in my eye should I be concerned? Thanks in advance

Am I being foolish to swallow ? Sorry for the details but that is me at this time.

Thanks Lissie. I ran across that post on this site didn't mean to cause trouble. I needed reassurance that swallowing was low risk that's all I was seeking.

"As far as HIV is concerned, there is no known risk of getting HIV from performing oral sex on an infected partner, even if that person's genital secretions get into your eyes or if you swallow"  DR HOOK / MEDHELP

Hi.
I found this on a site. They take the position that swallowing is dangerous but most sites I have read say there is very little difference. Any thoughts about it?
Thanks

It is important not to get any sperm into your mouth, and if you do, don’t swallow. According to the current state of knowledge, the so-called pre-cum before climax does not constitute any HIV-risk.
It may be a good idea to ask your partner to withdraw before climaxing or to give you a clear sign. If he should ejaculate into your mouth, be sure to spit out the sperm immediately and to rinse your mouth several times with lukewarm water. Do not swallow the sperm! Even if you are HIV-positive, there is no risk of infection for your partner.

Thanks for the encouraging answers. No additional risk of spit or swallow I assume. Thanks again

You never had a risk of contracting HIV from oral sex.

No risk from what you have written. The risk from giving oral lies on the potential of getting semen into cuts in your mouth, however if you keep good hygiene the risk is very low.

Also when a married couple have a child the mother tends to be tested for HIV so chances are a married man may know his HIV status.

The risk of semen in the eye is theoretical, knowbody has ever got HIV that way and you're not going to be the first.

To be 100% safe however, it's best to just get tested.

Best Wishes.
