Can anxiety medication like lorazempam or something like that effect the results of a test, or can any medications for that matter effect testing results

no medications that I have read or know of myself have been known to affect the testing for HIV.
This was a topic brought up several months ago by Dr. H.
He stated that only chemo or drugs along the lines for people with cancer would have an adverse (possible) affect on HIV testing.  Even those are not to have a profound effect on HIV testing methods.
After all, the test is specific to look for the antibodies.

let me guess at your scenario...

you tested this week.
then you received a negative result.
then you are doubting it because of some medication you are taking.

am I at all right?

just a hunch.
